Set up several years ago to celebrate the works of Joss Whedon - "Firefly" and "Serenity" - The Ottawa Browncoats aim to get together regularly for little shindigs around the central Ottawa area, and work to put on annual Can't Stop the Serenity fundraising events.
We want to hear from you:

It's our goal to develop a fun, active group of people who get together regularly for sci-fi and Whedon-centric events – like the upcoming showing of Done the Impossible on Sunday, August 8th at the Mayfair Theatre at 9 PM.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the event, and helped to make it the best Can't Stop the Serenity yet! With your help, we raised $3680 for charity - 75% of this is going to Equality Now, and 25% to iSisters Technology Mentoring!
